The Turtle Patrol are very informative and hard working volunteers. The natural reef out back is ideal for snorkeling and the fishing is the best. You can see the shaded reef area on the aerial photo. Enjoy the shelling and shark teeth that you will automatically gravitate to once you spot the first one. The weather can be a concern wherever you live, here we might have storms that bring decisions to be made. Be prepared to leave home for a hotel 5 miles away and return when it is over. The house has protected us well however we have had to replace sand, which is a maintenance expense that can be recurring. If I were to do it again I would buy a used John Deere small riding mower with a scoop front to move my plants, mulch and sand to where I wanted it. They are fun to drive and I think would be very helpful with the size yard you have. The room that is most enjoyed is probably the lanai.
